SFA 02 - Suicide First Aid: Understanding Suicide Intervention Reviews

I enjoyed this course especially as i had done the Mental Health First Aid course the previous two weeks, so it was a good continuation.

Very engaging useful content and found it very reassuring and increased my ability to manage those struggling with suicidal thoughts or intent.

Feel much more confident about talking about suicide and supporting those who feel suicidal.

Was happy with the course and learned much from the tutor as well as from the fellow police students taking the course and their perspectives.

thank you so much. As i said above, Chris delivered the training really well. Talking about suicide can be a really difficult topic but Chris made it easy to open up allowing all of us to feel comfortable giving an input. When i did make a point, Chris would reflect on what we said which i think is really important. I took a lot from that training yesterday and am really grateful to have been able to have it. Thanks.

very well thought out step by step course. Steve made everyone feel comfortable and safe to express and engage with others. Break out rooms were a good way to engage. definitely one can understand the importance and difference one can make with knowledge from this course.
