I thought the training was very informative and helped me understand and recognise the signs of someone who may become suicidal

I have found this course really beneficial. I'm a trainee social worker, so it was great to have an additional opportunity to practise my active listening skills. I feel more prepared now to speak to someone experiencing emotional distress.

I thought this was an excellent course and although I work in a suicide-specific field I learnt a lot. I liked that there were role plays included.

This was a very well designed course, plenty of content and well presented.. I would like to learn more about M/H and be willing to look for future development options relating this.

Well delivered course thank you. Just a shame we don’t have easier access to help our MH patients. MH nurses on clinical desk also needed 24 hrs not just 1300-0100.

very useful and informative course and I have taken away a lot from it, there have been a few situations in my life where I wish I would have had this sooner and my colleagues might still be with us.

The training was delivered well and covered a range of learning opportunities, enough time was allowed for the content to be understood and I liked that there was opportunity to ask questions and explore topics further as we went. There was a good balance between listening, watching slides and using breakout rooms to get interactive. The breakout rooms were kept in small groups which was better for learning and giving a chance for all to contribute. The trainer was excellent and had good understanding and knowledge of the subject, overall a very worthwhile and informative training session.
