Good presentation style, a lot of teaching strategies we use but great to understand why we do what we do. Some techniques I will embed in my learning to support long term memory.

Group sessions were useful

Multiple choice questions focusing on successful outcomes I.e., avoid none of the above, misconceptions, etc. Interesting concepts in particular pre-questions that might be useful before watching video tutorials etc.

Lots of useful ideas re retrieval to incorporate into the class

Good course very engaging

Very useful to find out more about working memory, long-term memory and retrieval practice. Great to hear evidence-based research/reports.

Very useful material, however felt like a lot of information crammed into a short space of time

As a TA, I found the training very interesting & engaging. However, we heavily rely on teachers using the strategies regularly, this doesn't always happen.

Useful material, well presented. Quite a lot of information in a short space of time - had I not had a sound knowledge of this content beforehand, I probably would have struggled to digest it all a lot more.
