The content was extremely wordy, this could have been simplified somewhat. Also the 'activities' seemed unnecessary at times. Otherwise the information was good and complete.

This course very beneficial and I feel would benefit all bands of nursing not just band 6 and above as band 5 nurses and band 4s deal with this on a daily basis

I feel this course should be essential for all nurses regardless of department but I feel this will be particularly useful for my role in adult acute medicine and I have been in many situations where this would have been useful historically. I think going forward this knowledge will greatly improve my practice and preventing escalation of behaviour. Ben was fantastic and really brought his experience to the training, very engaging.

Absolutely loved it learnt so much and had fun too. Thanks Ben for making it such a fun study day.

The trainer was really engaging like the previous trainers on part 1. I’ve never had training on self-defence or breaking away. It was really beneficial as previous to this course I felt it was a very grey area on how to protect myself whilst trying to protect patients. It reassures me knowing there is current legislation and evidence that helps underpin this in practice. Thank you so much
