Very interesting course with a good mix of theoretical and practical elements. It has given me a good basis on which to incorporate counselling into my work practice.

Marie was very helpful and advice offered readily via email or zoom. I would have preferred more interactive online work but other than that the course work easy to follow.

Having returned to learning I found that learning on-line was initially quite difficult. Personally in the early stages when it took me some time to get into my stride a telephone call from the institute to inquire how things were going would have been supportive. My tutor was very supportive and encouraging.

Good insight full course . course material layout could of been clearer and easier to understand . Would of been nice if course books were provided and included in the price of course and not having to be purchased separately.

Overall the course was very informative and what is a big plus for me is using the materials as regular form CPD in keeping the most important aspects of CBT at the forefront of my support of patients.

I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of this course, so much so that I want to continue on my counselling journey! I haven't done any learning for over 25 years and was very proud of achieving A's for all my assignments, it goes to show whatever age you are it's never too late to learn

I enjoyed the course and look forward to moving into the next section and learning more. The online aspect very convenient give I work. My tutor Dr Murphy was prompt and gave good feedback. I would recommend a more concise and clear 1-2 page document on expectations for assessments, assignments and dates, with clear documentation and labelling, separate to other materials, as I found this information a little disjointed to find. Otherwise very enjoyable module.

The course was very insightful. It gave me all the tools i needed to understand the reasoning behind how and why you take the approach to help the bereaved. Maria was informative with her comments.

Given that the course is entirely distance-learning and not in-person, the quality of tutoring including communication, advice and feedback is excellent. The course materials are excellent and provide links to all the essential texts for the subject. I feel as though I have learned a great deal over the course of my studies and it has enhanced my practice and enabled me to move forward in my professional aims.
