Very resourceful training

It was a beautiful experience. I learnt new skills that would be useful everyday in life. Safeguarding, whistle blowing and types of abuse stood out for me. Performing the CPR and ability test myself was quite educative.

Janek provided all necessary information to a high standard and clearly demonstrated strong professionalism, knowledge, and skills throughout the training. This was the best training session I have attended. About video: In my opinion, training videos demonstrating manual handling and transfers to a chair or wheelchair should avoid staff kneeling on the floor or placing a patient’s feet on their legs. From an infection control perspective, this practice is not ideal. Additionally, kneeling close to a patient may increase risk to staff safety. In situations involving patients with psychological or behavioural difficulties, this position could make staff more vulnerable to sudden aggression. While such techniques may be necessary in rare or urgent situations, they should not be presented as standard practice within formal education or training materials.
