Venue was cold. Several attendees with coats on throughout the morning. Paul tried to resolve this and a standalone heater was brought in. This didn't resolve it. The sexual harassment slide provides incorrect/incomplete information and needs a revamp. I am also concerned about the quality of the safeguarding training on the website, and would strongly suggest this is reviewed with a safeguarding expert. As a social worker and lead safeguarding practitioner, I am certain this isn't of a good standard. Paul is a good trainer - he is likeable, keeps it interesting, however I am concerned about the set up of this course now. I've been training with HSG for many years, but this course is now too much to deliver in one day. It is just a whistlestop tour of each area, with a few main points. Nothing is covered in detail as there is so much to do. I think it now feels very much like a tick box exercise. I must stress this isn't down to Paul, it is just the huge amount of content required.
