Kept the content interesting and encouraged interaction. A little stretched for space for practice
Very informative day. Learnt more ways to communicate with people with autism and learning difficulties.
The trainer was good. He showed good knowledge
Much of course not relevant to drs eg use of hoist/ helping patient up from seating position/ use of banana board) and more tailored to HCSWs and nursing staff.
I realise time is limited- however I do wish we had more time for the practical- for example I watched the use of the defibrillator but did not get a chance to use it myself. Overall Paul was great. I think more effort should be made to help people park- I paid just park £20 for the day and still got a £70 penalty because i apparently parked in the wrong bay- I see that had I booked my course directly, your site did mention this and alternatives- however I came via an agency and wasn’t aware of your site/communication- so in future- maybe even though an agency books, we should get a link to the course and its details( parking, no lunch provided, bring your own writing materials etc). Overall I got a lot out of the course, so thank you
Nathan was enthusiastic trainer with entertaining methods of explaining the course content
Some aspects of the course slides were a bit repeitive and occasionally the teaching was unclear. But the majority of the time the course was very engaging, entertaining and informative.
The training was insightful and helps highlight the importance of understanding the people we support and it was great to be able to hear people's views with lived experience.
