Very engaging and thought provoking course. Many thanks to the supremely knowledgable Karen who was able to cover any and all issues relating to not just an officers attendance in court, but really what prosecutors (and defence) are looking for in general practice with relation to criminal investigations. Thank you also to Geraint who led the first part of our practical day and gave some valuable insight.

I found the negotiation training to be highly engaging and insightful. The session provided practical strategies for handling challenging conversations, especially with difficult or manipulative individuals. I particularly appreciated the focus on active listening, assertive communication, and maintaining professionalism under pressure. The real-life scenarios and role-play exercises helped reinforce key concepts and made the learning experience interactive and relevant to our daily work. Geraint is clearly very skilled and experienced, this showed in what he explained and how he carried out the course.

Interesting session, lot of information from varied sources, has been useful to reflect upon and consider for the future of how to apply for future negotiation skills and handling different types of customers. A good source for reflection to help understand how i've been handling cases so far and to benchmark myself of current understanding for speaking with customers.
