Excellent course and trainer

The Accident and Investigation course was highly informative and excellently delivered. Richard Jones, the trainer was outstanding — not only in their knowledge of the subject matter but also in their ability to communicate it clearly and effectively. Their explanation and descriptive skills were exceptional, making complex processes easy to follow and understand. The highlight for the excellent training skills Richard has in choosing the right colleagues to help practically review our understanding of gained knowledge was the interactive role-play exercise, where he brought Paul Moore who acted as the injured staff member while we, as health and safety advisors, conducted the interview. His performance was incredibly realistic, demonstrating diligence and attention to detail that brought the scenario to life. This immersive approach added real value to the learning experience, helping us apply investigative techniques in a practical and memorable way. Additionally, the trainer encouraged collaborative learning by organising pair and group exercises that kept everyone engaged and actively involved. Overall, an excellent course delivered by a truly skilled and professional trainer.

It was very heavy going, needed some prep work prior to the training in order to fully follow the training and understanding it better. Needed to be more interactive activities. More visual learning opportunities to fit learning style.
