An excellent days course full of information from basic understanding to where I need to understand further concepts of RIPA and actual errors being performed . Richard was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my SFQ's. The handouts and case studies were effective and I will use them should I need to in the future. It was at the right pace for me. Thank you.
I felt that the course materials and pre-course requirements were a bit disorganised. It would be useful to create a 'handbook' to go alongside the course that contains all the modules, slides and links to videos indicating what section of the course they are relevant to. However, overall the course was informative and well presented. The information, which seemed daunting on days one and two began to come together by day three and began to embed on day four. I listened to our trainer and 'trusted the process' and it worked!
The course and training highly resourceful and well taught by a very articulate and professional tutor. It is quite enriching towards becoming a qualified Best Interest Assessor

Attending this course will allow me to ensure my mental capacity assessments, are entirely factual, are evidence based and meet standards expected by the courts in the event that decisions made have been made in line with best practice standards.
