The Cross Examination Day was very useful. It was good to have an input from a Solicitor Advocate who is regularly cross-examining in Court and giving instant feedback to officers about how they performed.
The course was pitched at beginners which was right for me. There was also plenty of content available to follow and the course was interactive and allowed some practical application.
Very good overview of what to expect at Coroner's Court
Overall an informative day about concepts I knew almost nothing about. Knowledgeable speaker who had a lot of real world experience as well. Easy to follow and day flowed really nicely.
Much more knowledge of how the court is managed and the witness role
