I have been with the group for nearly 12 years and have done a considerable amount of courses but this one was excellent, Steve is a brilliant trainer, the course was fun, interactive and delivered in a way that you were intentively listening. Thanks alot.

Steve was fantastic at delivering the training. For a topic that is naturally going to be "heavy", Steve was informative, concise and kept the session somewhat lighthearted whilst emphasising the importance of the training. Thank you Steve - this is definitely one of the better MHFA courses i've undertaken.

It was a very good and informative course. the way we all went out into breakout rooms also helped as we had time to interact and get other peoples thoughts/opinions. Overall, very well made course and our trainers were superb.

Steve was an excellent instructor. He created a safe an supportive space where everyone felt comfortable to share, while also making sure the whole group was involved. The course was interactive and engaging - it felt like a genuine two-way conversation rather than just working through slides. I really valued how he prioritised the key focus areas which were vital for the refresh training, instead of overwhelming us with too much information, and he made sure to connect with each participant individually. I'd highly recommend Mental Health First Aid Wales and Steve as an instructor!

It was a really good course. Steve was easy to follow and kept me engaged the whole time. Two day courses can sometimes make you feel tired or lose concentration towards the end but this was delivered really well and kept me very interested the whole time. Great session and a great trainer. Thank you

I really enjoyed the course. It was really informative with really good knowledge passed on to us student. I will definitely recommend other staff members to take part in MHFA even if its so they can recognise if they are struggling themselves. Alan was fantastic throughout and it's amazing to know your not the only one going through things and how you can safely help someone who really needs it. Thank you so much for allowing me to join.
