Mikel was an amazing tutor. He was very engaging and informative. It can be difficult talking about mental health and he made it very ‘normal’ and comfortable to talk about. I am in a leadership position within my tennis club and this has given the confidence to recognise and help those who are struggling with their mental health. I would highly recommend this course to others.

He delivered the course in an extremely engaging and practical way, allowing everyone the opportunity to gain confidence and competence in performing mental health first aid. I now have both the ability to approach and help an individual in distress and also an increased knowledge of the different reasons someone may be experiencing this distress. Very good course. Trainers made me feel comfortable and a lovely group of participants too. Would recommend this course and I am really looking forward to delivering it, Also good website too. It is also nice to know the trainers are on hand to help when we need and made me feel like I am supported.

Really enjoyed it and the comraderie between trainers and participants was excellent. I feel I need to do a lot more studying before delivering my first course but this is to be expected. The resources are superb and will help me with this. Thank you to everyone working at MHFA for high quality training.
