I found the Mental Health First Aid course extremely valuable and informative. It improved my understanding of how mental health presents, increased my confidence in recognising when someone may be struggling, and gave me practical tools to approach conversations in a supportive and non-judgemental way. Elender and Elin delivered the course brilliantly — they were knowledgeable, approachable and created a safe, supportive environment that encouraged open discussion and reflection. I now feel much more confident in applying what I’ve learned in both my professional and personal life.

I thoroughly enjoyed the course. It exceeded my expectations as regards content and the knowledge I gained . Both Huw and Nicola were extremely knowledgeable and provided us with the confidence to have very interactive sessions in which I learnt a great deal through other participants' experiences. Helen was an excellent instructor. Sharing her own experience of mental health problems was so moving and helpful for us , and so courageous of her. The course material - because of what it is dealing with - is very challenging, but Helen helped us work through it in a very accessible way. The videos in the course material were also very helpful. Although the course has meant that theoretically I am better prepared to help someone - I won't know until it actually happens!
