I have really enjoyed all aspects of this course. There was a great balance between self-guided study, participation and webinar learning. Hearing Andrew Dunmore and Lisa from Barod speak was also inspiring. Promoting good mental health awareness and destigmatisation is a passion of mine and I can't wait to get out there, to confidently carry on the work that Gwen, Rhys and MHFA Wales are doing. I enjoyed developing the ALGEE strategies across the different types of mental health and mental illness. I feel that I understand more about mental health and mental illnesses and will be able to spot the signs.
