Breaks did not fit in with our regular work place lunch times. This needs to be communicated in advance to allow us to make alternative arrangements. Homework was given yet no prior notice give. This became an issue with home and family commitments. Following completion of the course a further project is needed to be done. On whos time is this to be done? My employer has not built in any additional time around my shift pattern to allow me to complete this. This needs to be communicated in advance in order for me to have overtime approved or TOIL provided.

David made what could be a dry subject interesting, rather than just going through the booklet provided he explained clearly each and every step as we made our way through it, even using examples from my own work environment, the fire service, to help make the understanding of the material easier to absorb.
