Slow paced. It could have been in done in a day and a half.

I think it would be useful to have more practical examples. Perhaps the morning is the course content and the afternoon is numerous examples of slinging and lifting. (Appreciate this is dependent on what is available on site, no access on our site on the day so would need to have pre planned )

The course covered a lot that I already knew as a self taught excel worker. However there were a lot of features for quality of life that I did not know about and they were explained and demonstrated really well, I can see the benefits of this in my day to day.

The course was to learn how to do a COSHH risk assessment but we did not complete an assessment during the course. So I don't feel I learnt the outcome that the course required.

The course overall was not great online. I feel this type of course required to be delivered face to face.

Knowing this course could be difficult to get through due to my lack of genuine interest in the subject and it being online, I was really surprised that my attention was grabbed and that I felt engaged the entire 3 days - all thanks to the trainer, Rebecca Pitt. I do think I would have had an entirely different experience on this course had I been led by another, so I'm glad we had Becky. The books feel up-to-date and relevant, as well as all of the material they cover. This was also a nice surprise.

Whilst I found the course material helpful and interesting, I, unfortunately, found the way it was taught extremely lacklustre. Instead of looking forward to an interesting subject, I found myself dragging my feet towards my computer every Tuesday morning.

The booklets not matching the PowerPoint was a pain and too long was given to do the activities. There were also a number of times when content was duplicated across different workbooks

Although generally good and well presented, I think the course could have benefitted from some specific worked examples. The general nature of the material meant that there was little new over previous training received and little to identify the course as specific for senior managers.
