Wilton International induction took nearly 40minutes of queing and was generally in-effective. Course effective, relevant and fun.
I learnt quite a bit on this course. There are a few things that would need tweaking, like what paper work would we need to do the practical test. Other than that, this course was quite informative.
I found the course useful in that it had been a long time since I've worked with HV switch gear. It was a good reminder. I found the venue OK but the quality of the food was dire and for the cost of the course I'd expect something better. Overall a good introduction only if you are going to be continuing on to the S4 course.
Great course for a refresher, enjoyed the approach and speed of learning.
A well presented course, if the course had used our site HV layout for the exercises it would have been more beneficial but this would have prevented practical work from taking place. Good knowledge gained in cross boundary procedures.
Need to have tailored material for our system. So that we can discuss the specifics of our boundaries. Practical not really necessary as we need to discuss theory of our system. If we can refer to our own safety rule instructions and use our safety documents then this would be ideal. The general eaw info on the first day and the theory was a decent overview and recap. Possibly run the course at our site. If it's specific. Although practical not necessary for knowledge proving, it was useful to practice the process of a cross boundary activity and scenario
The workshop facility was excellent, plenty of space, many different types of electrical panels of various manufacturers through the ages. The general facilities canteen , seating area , washrooms all kept to a high standard . Class rooms Good. Audio visual all working well.
