The course was more focused on HV transmission system than ROV systems the course is adverted at. There was alot of information that although interesting was not relivent to a ROV style system as there is not HV switching in these systems. Steve was knowledgeable on the transmission side of things, and this knowledge has help us identify areas we can improve in.

I was given a printout of course material but it was very hard to follow and seemed to be inconsistent with what was on screen. some slides shown on screen were not in the printout and it seemed to jump back and forth through slides

Practicals would have been more interesting however Steve was great

Lecturer very good answered any questions I had , found the course very fast paced and hard to keep up with? Very likely due to my own lack of knowledge!

Great location and facilities, brilliant instructor and course delivery. The content of the course is badly out of date and not in agreement with current practises as set out by the ENA. Not up to date, restructuring needed.

As always course has been condensed so towards the end it was a rush to fit everything in. Eddie and Steve both very experienced men and very level headed instructors Also with the food, I pre ordered stuff but seemed to get what was available on the day but was still nice

I couldn’t fault the lecturer I just found there was too much ambiguity in the material. The questions in the folder were difficult to answer using the material in the folder as a reference I had to rely on previous experience.

Excellent teacher

It would have been far better if we could have kept the course folders as we could have made notes as we went along
