Thought provoking on interleaving and loved the analogies on how to remember benefits of retrieval practice. Matthew effect - rich get richer. Gain quickly - lose quickly. Definitely going to pinch the Logo experiment for a starter and plenary!

Already met a lot of this research but good to have a reminder from a charismatic speaker who allowed us to have interaction time and didn’t just talk at us.

Engaging with good balance of information (research supported) and tasks.

Having just done a literature review on retrieval practice this presentation helped me solidify what I had learned and gave insight into how to apply it to teaching. Lots of great information and definitions and it was really fun and engaging. Would recommend.
