valuable course worth the participation especially so as a police officer who may respond to or have to deal with this subject.

I found this course a great tool to layer on top of MHFA and general Understanding Suicide courses. It has made me more confident to help with prevention and supporting others. A variety in videos would be great.

A good format to take away and use in situations where you suspect someone has suicidal thoughts. It would have been useful to have culture, race and spirituality mentioned.

Thank you for the opportunity to take the course. Although quite a harrowing subject it was less upsetting than I thought it would be

Shocking statistics about the amount of people taking their own life and it doesn't get the recognition to help prevent it.

Very thought provoking, a little bit of a taboo subject that deals head on with a layered approach to possibly make a difference to someone's life expectancy. I like the templates which we can use to build a plan of support with their agreed input. The hand out support cards are a great idea. I believe the security department can re adjust or tweak their methods/processes to suit this scenario.
