The course increased my knowledged and understand of the issue and I feel more confident that I can assist someone facing these issues. The trainer made what is a very difficult subject possible to talk about. He also done welfare checks which is vital.
Excellent course and well presented. I have certainly learned and gained knowledge of this subject.
A highly recommended course that is very useful for work and personal life, and could make the difference between life and death. The subject content at first made me feel anxious but it wasn't long before I calmed down, which I think was down to Steve’s calm and caring nature.
An excellent course full of extremely useful information. It was really well put together and Lisa was an amazing presenter of the course. I would certainly recommend this to all who work with young people. Thank you
Great course, which I think can stand alone, without having previously done the MHFA course. Should be rolled out to as many staff as possible
I've done various suicide prevention courses before, therefore, I was aware of suicide signs (which explains the 'no' answer on 'Summary bit)
Matt, keep doing what your doing, working day in, day out, dealing with difficult topics. Cheers Matt, top chap.
Course was very informative, I feel more confident to deal with a child I feel could have signs of feeling suicidal and know how to have a conversation with them. Also what our next steps would be.
This course is valuable and valid for anyone in a people contact role and within the supportive role I am currently in this course encouraged my confidence to spot the signs a person may undertake when feeling or contemplating suicide
