Excellent course that I would recommend to others as these types of conversations are happening more often in the workplace obviously need to be held with sensitivity and a candid approach.

This is a difficult subject , Chris was able to bring the discussions to life with some examples of how using the right interactions with people can help them. He really highlighted that we need to be human with our discussions and use our gut feeling on what to say and when to say it, this was supportive as its an area that can be emotionally difficult for all parties.

I am now going to look at booking the full day course.

Excellent course well delivered

This 'SFA Lite' course is brilliant. As somebody already in the sector where mental health and suicide intervention discussions are prevalent, I found that it was good to compare our practice to what is solid, accredited practice. Lots of practical applications of the knowledge through discussion and activities, brilliantly facilitated by a passionate, enthusiastic tutor. I would recommend this to anybody who would like to know more about practical steps that can be taken in suicide intervention / prevention and also how to change mindsets, assumptions and embedded stigmas within our environments.
