Excellent, far less scary and more helpful than I had expected!

Lara was an excellent course tutor, who used her knowledge and experience to make the course content more engaging. I had a great experience with her which makes me want to look at other/further development courses that the University offers.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the course, it has helped me to understand the impact I could have if/when I recognised someone who is considering suicide and to know I can't fix what's gone wrong I their lives, but I can help them to a better road in the future.

Overall this was a very hard subject to be able to teach and support learning through. I found the content to be highly relevant for people in crisis but I also think that what made this course enjoyable was the tutors skilled delivery and engagement with the group.

Very informative and well presented course, everyone in the group participated which I think was down to the presenter for her perfect manner and professionalism, without putting anyone on the spot. Would certainly recommend this course to others.
