I’ve had previous suicide awareness training but this full day course added meat to the bone. It was a good mix of practical and theory, and excellent use of pre-recorded video too. The ultimate praise is, I would recommend anyone who is involved or has an interest in mental health and wellbeing to attend this course.

Overall, this course was very informative and the tutor was well prepared and clearly knowledgeable of the subject. I really enjoyed the video we watched as it gave some real life content. I would recommend this course to others.

Well delivered and pitched course, very informative

Both Melissa and Amy delivered the material really well. They were clear and confident and encouraging to all of the participants to take part and contribute their voice.

Really enjoyed the training and felt like i have learnt quite a bit. Was really nice speaking to others and doing the tasks in groups was a good way of applying the knowledge we had learnt .

The session was very well delivered and informative. I have taken away some great knowledge and feel more confident in regards to helping someone with suicidal prevention and also will be able to use some of this knowledge when delivering the suicidal caller session on the EMD course i currently deliver.
