This was a good course. I feel that although I have had had experience in talking someone out of taking their own life, I now feel that I have better tools in case I am ever faced with a situation like that again.

Thank you for providing this course. I feel more confident in myself should I ever need to support someone thinking or acting on thoughts of suicide. The more suicide first aiders in the world the more lives saved.

I am so grateful to have been given a place on this training course. I have learnt so much and I am confident that I will be able to help (in some way) anyone who might be struggling with thoughts of suicide in a much more effective and compassionate way. Learning “First Aid” techniques and realising/accepting that I don’t have to fix or cure anything and can continue to get support from such a fantastic organisation has been invaluable. So I myself have benefited from the emotional support today and the knowledge that has been shared. Thank you Elin and the bigmoose team x

I really enjoyed the course and found it engaging and informative. I feel as though I have learnt a lot and I can take this training into my personal life, which is what I wanted. Steph filled me with confidence and she handled such a serious topic with care and kindness, making it easier to talk about. I would definitely consider gaining the qualification that goes alongside this.
