The National Centre for Suicide Prevention Education & Training UK CIC Reviews

It is a heavy subject to talk about but the course was presented in a way to enable free and open discussion, which made it an excellent learning environment. I now feel better equipped to offer help and support to someone in crisis until professional help can be sought.

A good course, which is relevant to our job. I enjoyed it, thank you.

It is a very important subject to address and the training was done very well. The tutor was prepared, the tasks were interactive and there was a lot of group activities involved. The breaks given were nice and long and this allow us to relax and grab a drink and wind down for a bit before starting the next section. The only negative thing is that it was very long and at the end of both days I felt a bit drained. In particular, the first day, I was on inbound calls straight after and it was quite hard to stay focused.

Really good course, would have utilised a slightly larger audience within the venue, but not too large due to course content

I will never know if I can apply the learning until it really happens (should I ever have to have the conversation with someone) but I feel I have the tools to be able to do it!

Invaluable skills to have, if they are ever needed
