Making a difficult subject feel safe, approachable and manageable is the provider’s distinctive strength, according to attendees. They consistently praise knowledgeable, empathetic trainers who explain clearly, invite discussion and create supportive, non-judgemental spaces. Courses combine practical frameworks, realistic conversations, workbooks, videos and useful resources, with a well-judged pace and breaks. Because of the issues with Zoom, the session felt disjointed and a little rushed. We didn't have time to go through every exercise and the film didn't work. None of this was the fault of the tutor, and she handled the situation really well.

Enjoyed and was challenged by the training. Opened my eyes to huge nature of the issue - still very under-spoken about so good to be able to be so open.

It was a good training course, we had covered some of the content in our Mental Health First Aid training but it was good to have a specific view on suicide prevention and techniques to equip us to deal with certain situations

Really enjoyed the course. It delivered what it could in the constrained timescales. I will look to do the full-day, accredited course when face to face is an option.
