This course has given me more confidence to be able to approach someone or if someone approaches me to deal with a situation without putting a lot of pressure on myself.

Very informative and gave me more confidence if I was to be in this situation and made me evaluate my own mental wellbeing

I hope I don’t have to use the skills highlighted for someone who wants to take their own life but I think that the skills transfer easily to peer support that I provide most working day and during my volunteer work at a stroke support group. Things we do as an organisation really well already but great confidence boost

A great course which initially I was worried might trigger some feelings from a past experience, which to begin with it did, but it was at a depth that kept it informational and made it normal to talk about without emotion. Helped me to understand my past experience a little more and also how I could help others, including being aware of it for my own children. It was also useful to understand boundaries and responsibilities.
