What I was expecting from this course is to figure out the WHY. But it was more or less the same old stuff we have been doing for years in the Air Force. Maybe bring someone in who has thought about suicide. Let them tell their story and help us understand what they would like to see from the support side.

I enjoyed the course although I think we may need to follow up by reviewing our own internal processes to make it clearer for front line staff

The course needed to be more geared up for young people rather than adults.

Could have been condensed into a shorter period of time.
Response : Dear Belinda, Thank you for your feedback, we are continually learning from our participants. We do run an awareness programme that is half a day, however this course is City&Guilds level 4, 6 credits, therefore needs to be the full day. to support the qualification. Having the full day also allows for people with differing learning styles to fully engage in the learning process. Once again thank you for your feedback, we really value it. I hope you have a lovely evening. Best wishes, Fiona
