This training has given me the confidence to ask someone directly if they are contemplating suicide. It has taught me the significance of acting quickly to support individuals with tools to encourage accessible solutions.
Having an African Heritage woman delivering the work shop was important. This gave an extra bonus that gave a more realistic cultural approach to the subject.

Very good training, lots of useful steps - chance to practice skills would be useful, but it wouldn't make sense in this shorter version of the course.
