This was a really valuable workshop, delivered really well by Alison, that was made all the more beneficial through the shared experiences of many of the other people on the session. I have taken a lot from this and will look to filter this information through to others.

The two things I wanted to gain from this training was how to spot the signs of someone considering suicide, and how to have the conversation about suicide with them. This course delivered on both counts and I feel significantly more prepared now.

I was so encouraged that by the end of the session I felt confident that I could support somebody who I might encounter today - as the learning and skills become more embedded in my mind I feel I will be able to give appropriate support

The course would obviously have been better had it been delivered face to face in a more normal setting but given the limitations and restrictions with Covid 19 the course was still effective and enjoyable.
