A good course pitched at the right level to give us a beginner knowledge.
Previously I feel I would have felt more comfortable speaking to someone experiencing thoughts of suicide if I knew them, but may not have the courage to try and help a stranger. I now would feel able to help anyone I felt could need supporting.
