I really wasnt looking forward to the training as suicide is such a difficult subject but by the end of it I really enjoyed it, I learnt that it's ok to talk about suicide and most importantly I learnt that I can do something to help if i'm ever faced with a situation.

Excellent - concise yet covers lots of relevant information in a well structured way which, hopefully will help me remember key points if I need to put into practice.

This is one of the best training courses I have been on. I’m the information was so useful and well explained without being up personal or suggesting that you may have previously made mistakes with people with mental Health etc.

Loved it and can’t wait to deliver it! Made it look easy, which I’m sure it’s not. Thank you!

Good session. Really great to talk openly about a hugely important subject. Builds on skills as a MHFA Instructor.

This is a fabulous introduction to suicide and I can see how beneficial it will be to delegates. I would like to see links to further reading and also up to date stats. I think the concept and the materials are excellent. I think we should be given the questions to complete on page 1 of the workbook before the course starts as I had to fill them in while Alison was speaking. I also wondered what the point of the questions were when we did not talk about them or review them? I wonder whether euthanasia should be addressed at some point in this course particularly for the patient group who have chronic pain and life limiting conditions. I would like to think we can always help alleviate the pain in some way but there are some patients I have known who suffer immeasurably and would have welcomed this option if it was legal. I think this may be raised during sessions I run by delegates.
