The course has been a great opportunity for me to participate in. I would recommend it to colleagues and other organisations. I feel valued and am motivated to use what I have learnt on the course. I like the fact that we are also going to be given further opportunities of ongoing CPD. Having a better understanding of the structure of the organisation in terms of the people within it, has opened my eyes to the bigger picture and enabled a deeper understanding of myself and others.
The over all course was really enjoyable, and good to meet people that I wouldn't normally have met, more so with the remote working. It was also good to see that the council as a whole is different, each department has its own problem to some degree.
Really enjoyed the course and learnt loads. Claire Jex made the course interesting and fun even when some subjects weren't as interesting as others. Claire was also very approachable and gave time for everyone. I would recommend the course to anyone thinking of becoming a manager / going into a management role.
I have enjoyed this course immensely and learnt a lot. I feel empowered to implement these tools in my future career.

Excellent course - I thoroughly recommend this course to anyone new to management. The content was thought-provoking and made relevant to the variety of work contexts that myself and the other participants were coming from. Claire is an engaging trainer and struck a good balance between covering the content as planned and leaving space for interesting conversations (sometimes at a tangent!) that cropped up over the two days. I am excited to try out the methods discussed and using the various learning points to develop as a manager.
