Would recommend this course- doesn't matter what you role in the company is, if you can help just one person and feel more comfortable asking someone the question if they are going to commit suicide as a result of attending this course then it is absolutely worthwhile taking the time out to attend and listen.
Courses like this and understanding mental health in general are a massive help in current times. A lot of people suffer in silence and don't know where to turn to for help. Having trained mental health and suicide first aiders within the business who can spot signs will help people open up and deal with their issues before it get to a point where they feel suicide is the only option.
Initially I felt the subject was really challenging the first hour and I thought that I would find the day a real stretch emotionally however as the course went on with the constant support and reassurance from Christine I feel that not only I but the group grew in confidence .A really positive interactive course .Would recommend to others within the business
