This was a great course and gives a full experience of what to look for, how to help and the support that is there for those that need it. It also highlights that we as individuals need to be brave and ask the question, even if it feels hard to ask. That one question could genuinely save someone's life

Very helpful training with some useful tips and techniques. It was led in a gentle and friendly way by Shian and she ensured no one was put under pressure to talk. The breaks were well spaced and there was a helpful mixture of listening, videos and break out room work. Thank you Shian

Great, such a worthwhile day. Shian’s experience and approach I felt enabled everyone to explore this subject without fear and encouraged us all to feel confident about having what might be difficult conversations about how someone is feeling.

Previously I feel I would have felt more comfortable speaking to someone experiencing thoughts of suicide if I knew them, but may not have the courage to try and help a stranger. I now would feel able to help anyone I felt could need supporting.
