I overall was very pleased with the course but still would be nervous about talking to someone about suicidal thoughts. I think perhaps another example, or a more complicated and dramatic scenario, and what to do in those situations would help give confidence in doing the right thing in those situations.

One of the best training days I have done. I really felt comfortable- every element of comfort had been considered and put into place (e.g typing answers in the chat for accessibility etc). Brilliant ground rules which I will be putting into place in my Zoom groups. Frequent breaks were brilliant- allowed time to digest and ensured we didn't 'switch off'. A great amount of discussion and putting learning into practice. Thank you so much for providing this training day!

Overall a very good course, suicide is something close to us as an organisation and we are always looking to further enhance ourselves in this field. Whether that be staff are clients, I feel the course has helped and I will be looking to embed some of the content I have learnt into my working and personal life :)

I feel that this type of training session is very important to anyone who works within the “Patient Care” service. Everyone that has contact with vulnerable individuals, should be aware of the signs and symptoms of potential suicidal individuals.
