SFA02-Suicide First Aid: Understanding Suicide Intervention Reviews

A very informative and constructive course. Challenged my perceptions, and has made me alter my understanding of suicide and suicide first aid.

Great presentation of course, encouraged to be involved and discuss difficult topics.

The course has helped me to revisit and think about the terminology associated with suicide and also a more structured approach to intervening. Also the importance of self care and talking to people myself.

I found this course interesting and helpful to the work I do. The fact that most of my team has also completed it means I am able to support them better and we can have a much more informed and coordinated approach to support the clients within our service. I felt that there was also an element of reassurance that my current approach was generally going in the right direction but still was successful in challenging some of my interpretations and informing my atitudes to som eof the issues discussed.
