Very good presentation by both tutors I feel more confident as a suicide first aider to support colleagues and customers

Could elements of this form part of SBT in the same way as safeguarding content is now included? Talking heads etc Could an interactive package be produced to compliment SBT?

I think a course aimed at operational staff would be beneficial. We don’t have much training in mental health

I enjoyed the suicide first aid, as a medic, I feel confident with suicide first aid. I would always look for guidance if i was unsure from a mental health practitioner

Am glad I attended this course - very useful

Very intense but worthwhile course. There were a number of learning points that I found most useful e.g. Sometimes when people ......., the importance of acting on your intuition, clarifying what's going on and putting the person at the centre of their own plan.
