SFA 02 - Suicide First Aid: Understanding Suicide Intervention Reviews

Interesting but hard topic - I feel more confident now to have the conversations and know I can't fix it just support and direct. I know if I need any advice that Kevin is very approachable and the training doensn't end today.

I enjoyed the course good insite into understanding suicide intervention and how to apply this.

Overall the course was good. It was great to connect to other Aspris team members. But as stated before I feel that 7 hours on ZOOM or teams is too much.

Excellent session that has given me the confidence to talk about the topic, spot the signs and then have the conversation - followed by having the knowledge to support with plans

Great thought provoking course, I’ve learned a lot.

This was a really informative session and I now feel I have a practical way to have a conversation about suicide without feeling scared, prepared to use the right language and know that a big part is listening to what the person is going through to build trust. The template for the personal safety plan is very straightforward for a suicide first aider to support with.

Great training - i would definately recommend it.
