Very good course

This course was important for the work we support in Refuge. Nell is a great trainer who delivered very difficult content exceptionally well.

Learned a lot, practical ideas that can be put into place. Reassurance we are not alone within the process of someone speaking about suicide. Importance of our own self care.

The concept of First Aid was particularly useful and helped to contextualise the expectation of us - i.e. we are not training how to be therapists but rather learning how to keep someone safe until they access the help they need.
