The course had definitely helped me a lot. Even though I had previously taken steps to be ready to suicidal first aid I didn't feel equipped to help. Being part of the class and actually taking an active part in it have changed this for me. I'm very grateful I could participate in this course and hopefully help someone 1 day.
In conclusion I felt more awareness assured equipped and confident to approach the subject and a person in crisis in a more constructive measured way
I really wish I had taken this course a few years ago, so relevant to professional and personal life. Training was really well delivered.
Even through this course can be heavy, it gave me an insight that I can carry forward.
I now feel confident to recognise signs that I would never have thought of
I feel much more prepared to have difficult conversations with people who need some help or intervention or even just a friendly ear.
