SFA 01 - Suicide First Aid Lite Reviews

SFA training was very relevant to the Designated Safeguarding duties I have experienced. The training has provided me the confidence to continue with a good approach practice to having a conversation with an individual. Training contents relate to some of the disclosures I have experienced and equipped me with formal and informal resources for signposting. I was surprised by the up-to-date statistics of reported 6199 suicide deaths and the ripple affect data. I will refer to the Office of National Statistics.

A good course that hit lots of the key discussions around suicide and linked issues.

The Course overall was delivered perfectly and i learned a lot about a subject that can be quite hard to understand and deal with. I feel very confident moving forward after attending this course and i would certainly recommend it to anyone. It was very eye opening and i believe this is something that we need to know

I feel more prepared to address a potential suicide situation and provide first aid. In Latin America more specifically in El Salvador not only is a taboo topic but we don't have many resources to learn from or go to. So this is a start for me and happy to have joined the course.
