A very good day. It is potentially difficult material and Katie managed to make the day professional and sensitive to potential triggers and needs.

Thank you for taking your time to train us. This was a really informative session and I hope, like the progress being made on Mental Health Awareness, we will become more aware and comfortable with discussions around suicide.

The training was amazing it definitely looked at external factors that influence suicide, how to help someone cope and it was an eye opener to see how many support services we have on the island.

A good first aid lite course that will help me and others start to have the conversation more often. More information on good practice of handing over to the next person - and how to find the next person (with some recognition that services can be slow and friends/ family may be unavailable or unhealthy)- would have been helpful
