The tutor was very good at sharing his knowledge and experience, in the construction industry. The tutor was engaging throughout the learning sessions and very good at answering our questions. I'm a very disappointed that the course materials, i.e., the three volumes of course notes and delegate workbook didn't arrive, before the course started and I had to chase the Course Admin team, to request hard copies of the course materials. Thankfully, the course tutor had electronic copies of the course materials and Open Book Exam examples, for us, my colleagues and I, to work from, which was very useful and handy to follow the course tutor through the course material. Though I've covered the course material, during my NEBOSH General Certificate, Fire & Risk Management and Diploma courses, it was good to be refreshed on what subject matter we should expect to know and could be asked questions on, during the NEBOSH Health & Safety Management in Construction Open Book Exam.

While the references to legal texts and policies were certainly helpful, there may have been some slight discrepancies in alignment with the UNHCR context. While this did not hinder our learning, it might have been beneficial to adapt some of them to the UNHCR context for a 3-day course. Paul is undoubtedly an expert in this fascinating topic, and above all, he has a remarkable ability to make distance learning engaging and interactive, which is no easy feat. This course has provided me with invaluable insights and tools that will enhanced my ability to contribute in ways that go beyond the known traditional UNHCR administrative support. I would gently suggest that others in similar supportive roles do not hesitate to take this opportunity.
