Great fun being interviewed in a studio.
Great experience. Took me out of my comfort zone and extremely helpful in helping me identify and portray my research message to the public. It has given me more confidence to be involved in media events in the future.
Really inciteful and surprisingly transferable to all sorts of elements of communication that engineers/academics need to engage with. Made me really think about what it is I want to get across

Incredibly knowledgeable and friendly facilitators and it was the right amount of guidance and freedom in letting you try and feedback was helpful and constructive to see huge improvements in interviews but also own confidence. Hugely worthwhile course and made me feel so much more comfortable for any upcoming press!
It was very good. I learnt a lot specifically structure and what is most important to say first and when. Vic was very lovely, she spoke us through it very clearly and made me feel very comfortable and supported. I feel much more confident to go on tv and radio now with what I've learnt today. Thank you!
An informative session on the theory around the skill of telling a story and relaying your message, then practicing these techniques through practice interviews which allow you to finesse your skills.
The training helped to build my confidence and provided me with techniques for press/media interviews. The training was incredibly beneficial and the tutors Sean and Victoria were knowledgeable and friendly. I was in Sean's group for the breakout rooms and it was a very supportive environment. Sean was very helpful and understanding throughout. Overall, I would definitely recommend this course to anyone wishing to learn more and understand how to present in interviews, as this training gives you both theoretical techniques and practical sessions to develop your skills. My confidence in this area has grown significantly as a result!
