Great training session

Thank you James - I really enjoyed the session - I've taken a lot from today, particularly IRF, BATNA, PAC and the win-win mindset. One example that really stood out was the orange story. If two children both want an orange, the initial position is that they each want the whole orange. However, by exploring their interests, you can make a better decision and achieve a better outcome. That really highlighted the importance of looking beyond positions and understanding what is driving them.

It was an excellent session with a highly engaging and inclusive dynamic. There was a real wealth of content to explore, with plenty of practical techniques, concepts and underlying theory to reflect on and apply. The examples used throughout were particularly effective, and the visual illustrations helped bring the material to life. The communication of the different approaches and negotiation principles was clear and easy to follow. For me, the key challenge now is translating the learning into practice and building confidence to apply the techniques at the negotiation table without overthinking them. I feel I am leaving the session with significant added value, a broader awareness of the topic, and a number of practical approaches that I can apply in my day-to-day work. I would strongly recommend this session to anyone looking to expand their knowledge and understanding of negotiation. Overall, I found the session extremely valuable and thoroughly enjoyed it. I would also be very interested in hearing about and participating in any similar learning opportunities in the future.

Areas I must read up on further and research to better improve my practice and outcomes for the individuals I work with and support has been my main take away from today. Thank you Max for helping us refocus precious time in our days!

Fantastic trainer with a great personality who delivered a highly interactive session that was very interesting and helpful. There were lots of useful information provided which will can be applied to life professionally and personally. I would highly recommend this session to my colleagues, especially some individuals who could massively benefit. The slides and breakout sessions were highly engaging and ensured that everyone was included, and joined in. This particular trainer ensured that every comment and question was answered the attention to detail and all taking part was tremendous, and very engaging.
