The interactive part of the course where a mock court environment is probably the most valuable as as a participant the experience will help but conversely watching the process as an observer has massive value to to pick up on the tools and methods used by the defence and be able to process and hopefully combat these in court.

A study of DVSA procedure would improve the course even more

Course was tailored to criminal law but my role works on administrative law. There are some differences that were not covered. Otherwise very worthwhile.

Although most of the delegates were from the MOT side of DVSA, there were some from the Commercial Vehicle side, i.e. tachographs, drivers hours etc.
